Winter vacuum pump (oil pump) power on start usage method

1. The vacuum oil pump should not be used in an excessively cold environment.

2. The low-temperature vacuum oil pump can be appropriately preheated before use.

Preheating Method for Using a Vacuum Oil Pump in a Low-temperature Environment:

a. When the vacuum oil pump is not in use, move it to an environment where the temperature is not lower than 10ºC or take heat preservation measures for the vacuum oil pump.

b. After the vacuum oil pump is used, drain the pump oil when the pump body is at room temperature, and then add the pump oil before powering on the vacuum oil pump for use.

c. Jog the power supply of the vacuum oil pump. The jogging time for the first three times is 3 to 5 seconds, with an interval of 2 to 3 minutes in between. Gradually increase the jogging time until the vacuum oil pump runs normally. Note: If the motor is protected and cannot run normally during the preheating and starting process, do not forcefully power on the vacuum oil pump at this time, otherwise the vulnerable parts of the motor may be damaged.

3. Jog the motor to check whether the oil level in the oil window decreases. If the oil level decreases, it indicates that the mechanical pump is running normally; otherwise, it means that the pump body is not running at a normal speed.

4. If abnormal sounds are found in the vacuum pump, stop the pump immediately and check the cause.
